The IV World Cadet Games have begun and a new page has been written in the history of Venezuelan Military Sport by being the hosts and the first to compete in the discipline of Fencing, a sport that combines skill, strategy and physical prowess, against the Republic of the Russian Federation, in the modality of Women’s Team Sword.
The match took place this Sunday, August 18, in the gymnasium of the Military Academy of the Bolivarian National Guard, Caracas-Venezuela, in an atmosphere of brotherhood and solidarity between both nations, where the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela obtained a pleasant victory against the Russian team.
Sport has become a key vehicle to promote friendship and cooperation between countries, Venezuela’s participation in international Fencing competitions has increased, and this tournament is a reflection of its commitment to improve in this sport.
